Profhilo® is a type of injectable rejuvenation treatment, and unlike dermal fillers it is not designed to add volume to the skin, or restrict movement in the facial muscles. Instead, this anti-ageing hydration treatment contains high levels of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring compound which helps improve tone, texture and elasticity.
Profhilo® offers one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market. HA is responsible for hydrated and youthful skin and is drastically depleted from the skin over time. Profhilo has been developed with an exclusive injection technique, customisable for each client. In the area chosen to be treated, up to 10 specific injection points can be used. Each point is known as a bioaesthetic point, and identifying these points for injection with Profhilo is known as the bioaesthetic point (BAP) technique. These ten points are in the most anatomically receptive areas, and when used together, allow the treatment to take maximal effect.
